About Us
At Lovesomebody Australian Cobberdogs, we are passionate about growing this amazing breed which is very much still in its infancy and development. Our names are Carolyn and Shayne and we have resided on the Mornington Peninsula for the past 23 years. Our three children have all grown up now and undoubtedly benefited in their own development from our love for dogs and the joy they bring everyday to a family. As new breeders we take our future responsibilities very seriously and will strive to ensure the health, safety and well-being of all our pets. That’s why the happiest days for us will be when one of our puppies is adopted by a loving and welcoming family.
Philosophy & Mission
We are a new small boutique breeder of the Australian Cobberdogs in Victoria. As members of the MDBA we understand the importance of continuing the development of this amazing breed. A breed that has been fastidiously and selectively bred over generations to have the following desired traits.

calm demeanour
very low shedding/hyper allergenic coats
emotional warmth

sustained eye contact for bonding
high intuition (reading emotional states well) and,
high aptitude for training
It is these characteristics that make them perfect for the modern family.
As new breeders our goal and mission is to produce the best puppies we can with a strong focus on temperament, a strong human connection and emotional intelligence. An Australian Cobberdog apitimises what most would believe is the ultimate family pet.

Meet our Gorgeous Girl
Maple
Sheehans Moonlit Maple is our foundation breeding female. Maple is the offspring of Springhills Iggy and Springhills Roscoe. Her appearance is very similar to her father and carries the strong brown pigment nose, straight coat and is a gorgeous caramel colour. She is medium in size, incredibly loving and there is no doubt she will produce gorgeous puppies with a strong focus on human attention and eye contact.
